Secrets

Resent

Sin

All of these are found in RESISTANCE.

What would change if we focused on the light instead?

Of the 1,172 hidden inside,

Which messages are calling to you?

I commit to…

I commit to aliveness.

I commit to depth.

I commit with sharing more

when I “think” there’s

nothing left.

I commit to breathing.

To learning to shapes.

I commit to opening up

to expand the limits

of “safe”.

I commit to love and
death and everything

between.

I commit to learning,

to building from
a dream.

Thank you so much for this Jerico!!! It’s creating an outlet in me that I didn’t know I needed 🥺 A daily practice to not only feel emotios in a different way, but to practice fighting shame and juuuust writing! I’m feeling love, sadness, awe, frustration and fucking anger in my poems and it feels really expansive! The prompt ‘being seen’ brought along so many emotions and then prompted me to pull some tarot too. Just thank you so much for this 💞💞💞💞

Resistance

when you’re all tied up

already.. and all ready,

how can you not resist?

Being seen

Threw off the disguise

Well rested

In a smoke filled casket

Flashing light

Mumbles low

behind me now

I gave up the glow

With the help of a friend

And a not-so friend

Clear the airway

I’m on fire

A living ember

No longer trying to hide

beneath the seat

in the front row

A folded placard hangs

I belong on this wall

in this corner

What God is kneeling before me?

I open my heavens.

His tongue whispers into me,

flicks like a serpent

Shudders of breath evoke life

A burst of heat, and radiance emits

As an ocean ruptures

My ecstatic screams penetrate the void.

A little death

I am the Goddess.

With curiosity

Enter an era, so tough to imagine

Age is marked by a number

A challenge to fathom

All is not lost,

To a past spent escaping

To divine is a calling

Best expressed while creating

A foundation of courage

Inspired by care

Colorful sprinkles

Delighting the air

A path has been lit

Where it leads, no one knows

Deep well descend into

Splash joy I suppose

God is a heart

breaking

A human hand

holding a hand.

God is a tear
falling

A small rain drop

kissing red sand.

God is joy

and pain

and dancing

with you.

God is a voice

shaking

as it cries:

this too, this too.

An abundance of time…

An abundance of love…

An abundance of ideas…

An abundance of desires, dreams, thoughts…

An abundance of fears and anxiety…

An abundance of feelings… inadequacy, weirdness…

An abundance of joy…

An abundance of things to create, to do, to give…

An abundance of possibilities.

An abundance of mistakes, of past choices, of choices not made…

An abundance of opportunities not taken…

An abundance of excuses.

There is so much.

And my mind always fixates on the lack of…

On what is not…

On what I wish it was that is not…

There is an abundance of inconformity.

An abundance of not doing anything about it.

An abundance of waining…

An abundance of self-pitying.

And the world… oh the world…

There is an abundance of hate

An abundance of envy

An abundance of lost people

An abundance of people that have been abandoned

Forgotten.

An abundance of pushing, crushing, hurting…

An abundance of greed

And abundance of taking, conquering, owning…

things, people, places…

How I wish there was an abundance of wonder…

An abundance of magic…

An abundance of acceptance, of love

TRUE LOVE

An abundance of togetherness, oneness…

An abundance of hope…

An abundance of remembering…

An abundance of mirrors (not sponges)

An abundance of kairos…

An abundance of people sharing their gifts with the world

An abundance of smiles, of looks, of people BEING with people…

of hugs.

An abundance of the sounds that the breeze makes when they are trees, when they are waves, when they are birds…

An abundance of dreams come true…

An abundance of things that don’t make sense but that we don’t need for them to make it.

And I think there is…

Abundance of all things

Good and Bad

What am I choosing to see?

What do I want to see?

What do I want to receive?

What do I want to give?

What do I want to create more of?

How can I be part of the abundance that I want to see more of?

An abundance of fur lines my black jeans

(gifts from the only companion I wish near me)

Letters turned confetti strewn across the floor.

My phone dings, muted,

with earbuds blocking repeat knocks on the door.

I decline amid remnants of interactions littered

around me,

to remind me

I choose loneliness at times

for peace.

An abundance-

Shelter is available to all

Cruelty created mythology

Preachers of scarcity

Lisps through a forked tongue

Drips from a dangling tag

However,

Earth provides for all creatures

The land is animal

Guarded by leaves & ancient roots

Syphoning from some poor sap

Cheaters

Thinnest skins in the game

Erased the rules

Rewrote them in shit

Blame the victims

In poison promise

Odds flicked out of favor

Bent the corners and counted the cards

And yet

There are millions more of us

Than there are of them

Clad with invisible uniforms

The bombs explode

His Jails exist

Cutting lines in the sand to pinch you out

Or lock you in

With such great abundance

maybe it’s the eclipse👽)

An abundance…

I see but don’t

yet understand.

There is medicine here

used for thousands of years.

There is food for hours and

shelter for days.

There is string, rope, fishing

lines.

Fibre to tie, tether, catch,

feed and bind.

An abundance offered free

in one thin, old tree.

That I see

and don’t yet understand.
